I'm looking forward to seeing this one done. A road going Jimny would look cool a little lowered. Not seen any lowered springs but I'm sure Koni and Bilstein do shocks which will likely handle better on road.

Road Jimny. not sure about that bonnet... Go for it fella. do what you want to your own motor
There was pictures of a white one on 18's but can't find them again. Wider wheels and tyres made mine a lot better in the wind, varied between "interesting" and clean under wear being needed on the original rims depending how strong the side wind was :huh: :blink: :woohoo: :side: :silly: :sick:
Could always use hydraulics and get the best of both worlds, low on the road and back up if you ever did go off road.

That bonnet looks like a flag on top of a standard bonnet. You can see the creases on the far side.

Airbags would be the best solution by far if you have the money, There was a landy in retro cars a couple of months back was real mint and ran bags, you could drop it for road use and raise it back up to play off road!
