Vosa would have loved you! Over loaded and do you have b+e on your licence? Id never tow with my jimny as it s not safe. I use a shogun to tow my jimny as its to heavy on the back of my grand vitara.

Over loaded and over the jimny's limit! 1300kg braked iirc.
I've towed a loaded transit in the snow and recovered my sisters dead primera before.
I have had my small trailer full to the brim with old fence for burning, she may have been over the 350kg unbraked limit by a kilo or 2 and i knew i was pulling the weight. The front end was so light and you needed a country mile to pull up, on any uneven road it was pivoting in the middle and the trailer done a bit of steering for me. Not something i would do again in a hurry, we just kept loading it up and loading it up and it all went in neat so filled up easily i just didn't realise there was so much i there until i set off.

nah man dont have it. down country in ireland u get away with everything. yea my boss has to showguns he tows some amounts of stuff. not a bother to her. jimny wouldnt handle it every day the car was hanging out of the trailer by the end of the journey. need a steel bull bar as well. my mate was pushing the car up a hill because it was going fast enough so it broke off and wend under the jeep. so going to get one off a defender and just make her smaller or somthing. just take grinder to her and drill a few holes and hope for the best haha

so it was a single axcel then??
twin axcel means your only pulling it and you havent got all of the weight on the back end of jeep and not bouncing front wheels up and down lol would be fun for a second untill u go towards the hedge. nah i dont think id down it again maybe somthing like a shogun or a fender bender

Pulled a 2.5 tonne jeep off salisbury plain to my house ... Selection of on and offroad pulling.
Total I have ever pulled was a fully fuelled disco and 2 passengers put of axel deep sticky mud.
The jimny managed it but the clutch went 8 days later ( it was previously a new clutch !! )
Now the paddle clutch has been fitted, I've pulled shoguns and defenders with ease
