Jimny timing belt help...... was created by bertbuckie
As you all know I'm a tight git....... I plan on doing the timing belt soon but dont have much cash and due to the wife getting pregnant ( damn you postie! ) again looks like we will be selling the jimny in december.
So what I really want to know is is it possible to change the timing belt without changing the tensioners? if so what problems can this cause and is it just stupid to do ?
Cheers,
Bert

if you are changing the belt you would be silly not to do the tensioner as well as there not expensive & if you do just the belt & then the tensioner fails its not going to be nice
so get that extra £20 out & do the job right
