Free Wheeling Hubs was created by Chris.
Hi everyone!

I see a fair few of you have free wheeling hubs on your jimnys. What are the advantages and disadvantages of these? Don't the jimnys have automatic ones?

Thanks Chris

mine is a 2002, it has just done 116,000 miles, is still on the origonal hubs, is used in 4wd at least three times a week and is still going strong.

Maybe I'm lucky or its down to good maintenance and replacing the big steering seals every couple of years as well as keeping the balls re-hammerited when necessary. (There's a good word)!!!

all the best. Bry D
