If the clutch needs changing, would it make any difference to the noise when changing into 4wd?

wouldn't think so as the transfer box is separate from the gearbox/clutch assembly

Do you need to change the clutch is it slipping,:unsure: or is it the transfer box that is noisy when in 4wd.
