Spot on... up the passenger side A-pillar when I get round to that side...

Metal tube with an inexpensive to replace head...

I’ve just ordered convoluted hose and jubilee clips too ;)

I couldn’t help thinking this morning about the weird timing of all of this... in January I decided for personal / health reasons I had to sell my two Jimnys and take a bit of time off greenlaning with my mates, to sort some issues out, and get round to finishing the “bucket list” buggy build I’ve attempted in life a few times...

And then the pandemic hit...so I couldn’t have used my vehicles anyway, we’re all confined to our homes... I’m still working long hours serving the public in our convenience store and Post Office as we’re deemed a necessity, it’s a stressful time trying to get stock on the shelves, and keeping customers at a safe distance from each other and myself and the rest of the team...

And so my Wednesdays and Sunday’s are spent in self confinement in the garage working on the buggy, Spotify playing 80’s rock music, all of which distresses me and gives me something productive to do whilst we’re in lockdown...

And, when I’m in the shop I’m constantly thinking about the buggy; what I’m doing next, etc... which takes my mind off everything, and keeps me going... and sane!

And then, by the time everything settles down and when we return to (the new?) “normal”, the buggy should hopefully be ready and I’ll be all set to re)oin the group and get out and enjoy some scenic greenlaning in our beautiful countryside... B)

I just thought the timing of it all was weird...?

It's good that you can find positive thoughts about all this I know a few that are not doing so well. As a farmer and cleaner both my jobs are considered key which like yourself essentially means life is mostly going on as normal which is great from a mental health perspective. I think though that a lot of how you deal with this is not really down to your situation so much as you as a person. Life gives you lemons, make lemonade!

I had (literally) an hour off this afternoon, so I disappeared into the garage, as the Labradors had already had a nice long walk, and made this...

A piece of 5mm steel bar with two dis-similar size holes hole-sawed through it, and then seamless tube poked through and welded from behind...

But... WTF is it? ;)

Off back to work, I'll let you ponder that one..
