I think the difference between some of the cheaper ones that boast 400nm of torque etc is the batteries are not as good, so they will die long before the gun is dead.

I've got an old Machine Mart one that had Ni-Cad batteries. They didn't last long but it was really good when it worked. This must be its modern equivalent:

I might use my Christmas money from my parents towards one!

I've got air but my gun isn't up to the job and the price of a suitable one isn't too far off this. Them there's the faff of getting it out!

Well I used the Lidl Mains powered I bought last week to change all the wheel nuts on mine and it worked a treat!

I did try the DeWalt and it was working but was clearly making heavier weather of it, the LidL had them off in no time.

For £40 really hard to see how I could go wrong.

Well I went in to Aldi at the weekend and they had sold out - very disappointed.

What does this prove?

Things can go wrong and I don't read the posts properly.

So tonight I am trying again in Lidl for the rattle gun and one of those chargers. Better half wants a jar of peppers and some bananas, so bound to get something from this list. Wish me luck for the rattle gun.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Aldi were selling a similar charger, a not so good pump, and an OBD reader when I went in to pick up the Corale Baked Beans and the poverty crinkle cut chips last week.

I actually went for the conical drill bit set, but decided to get a set of HSS ones instead when I saw them.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

My local Lidl had loads a week ago, happy to take a trip over there at lunch time if people are going to the Big Meetup and want me to get them anything.

My local store sold out quick, three days in and they only had one left.

Looking forward to trying mine out when I swap over to winter tyres on the hatchback. The impact wrench feels super torquie!
