My work car is a 2015 landcruiser 70 series ute. Solid axles, 4.5L V8 turbo diesel. Toyota can't keep up with the demand so can't see them stopping building them

Demand in the UK for such (wonderful) trucks is very, very limited. A few green laners, who by and large don't buy new vehicles anyway, won't support the expense of offering them for sale here.

As far as the UK goes the market for full on live axled, low ranged, separate chassis'd trucks is virtually dead. No one really needs one, so few people actually buy them.

Wonderful isn't what I would call them. Uncomfortable, thirsty, tyre wrecking and very expensive are a few things I would call them.
If they couldn't carry a heavy load you would chuck rocks at them.

Has 160 litre fuel capisity and can't get 1000km between refills.

Probably when the army choose a replacement for the landrover it won't be anything like the original so the used ex army stuff will probably dry up as well.
