Do most garages have insurance to cover damage to cars in their care?

She's a 26 year old girl...... Least it's not a Ka!! As far as girls cars go its spot on, 45mpg, £30 tax and pleasant enough to drive.
My mechanic mate came straight back to me and has agreed to cover the damage in full. Problem solved anyway which is good!

To be honest I would be grateful to have on of those so wouldn't complain about what car she drove lol.....actually, I know what I'm like yes I would lol.
Good news though that's when you really can say it was a friend doing the work!

If it was a normal garage maybe- difference is its a friend's place and he has taken my word for it that it's never been jacked up elsewhere whilst in our ownership. He doesn't have a hydraulic lift so jacked it to do the front brakes.
The paintwork damage is clearly new which supports my case and he has readily agreed to cover the repair which is decent of him.
