I found the opposite. As said I have a gaming PC but the graphics card does not support W10 because Radeon decided not to do drivers to enable the catalyst so when I tried to fit the picture to the screen I was left with only Msoft options as the install did not load it. That meant having a picture with a big black border or one that went off the at the edges. Installing W10 has been a PITA. There were other issues too so I was not impressed and reverted to W7 before the 30 days was up.

Typical of Microsoft. Almost every time I turn the Xbox on there is an update - they have a "don't do it, don't play attitude"
.

Install discs arrived.
To my surprise they installed on the lappy and PC like a dream. :woohoo:
I had a long wait while easy transfer loaded the old stuff on to the W7.
TBH I haven't really noticed any speed difference.

Well it comes as no surprise there was no improvement in speed. The HDD was 7 gig from being full. It got to red for danger when I tried another install in an attempt to fix the problem. Turns out the the W7 install CD does not wipe the HDD automatically and so remnants of the previous OS (annd earlier) clutter it. Arghhhhh.
Now I have that sorted it is as sweet as a nut.
