Can anybody help with an Alfa problem?

Evening fellow members. I have a small issue with my Alfa 159 and wondered if anybody
on here has an idea how to fix it. Have tried the Alfa forum but its not the friendly place the
Jimny one is.

Drivers side rear door is stuck closed as if its locked. Outside and inside handles feel normal
( ie still attached.) Any ideas? Regards Allan.

I assume there is nothing stuck in the door like the seatbelt or jumper ECT, Did you have child lock on the last time you shut the door? If not it might be worth giving the inside of the door a good sturdy wack over and over wile locking and unlocking the central locking. You can sometimes get some grit in the greece they put on the mechanism when serviced, if you get it open give it a good soak with WD 40, if you have the time it might be worth taking the door card off before closing the door and use a screwdriver to close the latch to make sure the mechanism works properly before.

Problem solved! Swapped the Alfa for a Honda Civic Type s GT. :laugh:
