Yep, hope the Jimny isn't damaged by the fire. Those complaints about the landlines of BT being disconnected reminded me of an incident many years ago that involved a truck, a ph line and a lil ol' Lady...
I'd driven a large Pantech of 4.1 metres height down a small street in Footscray, one that had low hanging ph lines. Was driving very slow cos of cars parked either side and narrow road, when this lil old Lady came rushing out, waving her arms and carrying on like a pork-chop. "Wots up?" I enquired politely. Her "I was on the ph when it suddenly went dead and I heard your truck and saw the ph line hanging down from it!". "Really?" I said. Wasn't much else I could say. Anyway, she said she wanted to talk to my Boss. I said "Hang on, I've got a business card here of his" and handed the card to her and she went off inside. LOL Then she came running back out, pretty sprightly for an ol' gal, and yelled out to me. "I can't call the number, the ph isn't working!" Ha ha ha, I knew that and kept on driving
