Does any one no what part of a log book i fill in if i want to use the car as a loan car for a garage the yellow but says selling to a trader im lost is it the green but or yellow bit :huh:
If the car isn't registered to the dealer it can't be taxed so must have trade plates when used on the road. If the dealer intends to use it as a loan car without trade plates, then they must register it to themselves so it can be taxed.
So I guess you can fill out either bit but you must then get it registered in your name to tax it.
If u fill in the yellow bit ie the trade bit it still puts the car in your name or the company name and takes it out of the owners name just it lets u keep the other half of the logbook so when u sell it on u don't have to wait for the log book to come back witch we all know takes weeks hope this helps cheers Chris
But the yellow bit says to a motor trader and the gumf on the rear of the yellow section says other wise and the main green bit on the left of the log book says title bla bla bla business thats what im confused about
