I think quite bad.
Whenever I'm sat in my wives car as passenger with the sunroof open, I'm always annoyingly playing with it and it does get noisier with a lot more wind blowing in.

It's off regardless as the sunroof hasn't the power to shut with it on.
I am more likely to use it on tilt than wide open.

Ha I'm not the only one then lol.
My x5 has one of those mesh ones and if you flip it down it makes a horrible buffering sound that do ya ears in
