I'd say the reason most Landover's are painted in camo is so their owners cannot be seen out in one.. my old 1956 Series 1, coil springed, disc braked, TVR 4.6 engined comp-safari motor was YELLOW.. but essentially apart from a 4" square plate with the VIN number stamped on it, it was 100% not landrover!
