just search for the area you want, but also there are some companies that sell road books for various areas like

vibraction.pagesperso-orange.fr/index.htm

or

guide4x4.free.fr/topic2/index.html

I have bought and driven a couple of the road books from Vibraction in the Pyrenees around Andorra. Good fun to do but nothing very challenging. However lovely countryside and a very pleasant way to spend a few days.

Forgot to say that you can buy the IGN of France 1:25000 maps which show loads of tracks. However as in the UK you can't drive any track you see. Check first in the map and then when you get there make sure there are no red/white round signs.

Brilliant thanks
