south wales green lanning

hi i go camping in south wales once or twice a year at a faantastic farm called glyn y mul farm near neath and now i own a jimny its only right that begining of next year i take him with me i was wondering whats it like up there and if any one would be willing to share the best routes etc ive got some os maps of the area but as there partly useless i dont want to be running around finding locked gates and closed lanes, looking for lanes with the best views and roughest terrain and any water crossings would be welcome
