Just wondered if I have paid too much for my Jimny

I bought my Jimny about 2 years ago with 98000miles on the clock and a smashed front bumper for the princely sum of £950.

I have since purchased and fitted/changed every conceivable car part for new and/or uprated parts at the considerable cost of about £7000-8000. Oh and completely destroyed any limited road manners it once had.

The good news is after this meagre outlay my car is probably worth about £3000 (3 times what I originally paid for the car!) and they say modifying 4x4's doesn't pay

Same here mate, Spent thousands on a wreck and still not worth much now. Never sell it, rather break it. But i'm going to enjoy it first. ;-)

No Gaz what you do is buy it, spend on it, enjoy it, break it, spend more, break it more, destroy it then sell what's left

Yep, But if you don't break it then you have not tried hard enough. I'm sure we all enjoy fixing them :-) Thank god I have the skills to do pretty much any repair to the jimny myself otherwise it would cost £1,000,000.
