Thanks for the warm welcome guys,

I am not planning on any serious mods but plans always change, I am thinking initially just some good off road tires and a spring lift obviously correcting everything needed along with the spring lift. I will then take it from there with regard to bumpers winch etc. The plan is to do a bit of green laning and hopefully a few pay and play days if there are any local still open.

Goatboy, you are right the Metro is great fun, the previuos owner claimed 0-60 in 5 seconds this is not true but I tell you what it is not far off of it and has scared a few fast cars. I just feel if i keep it any longer I will end up with points on my licence, plus i never ended up using it am much is I hoped.

Glad to see there are a few local people, Mudman I will get signed up on there a little later it will be good to get out with a group doing some laning as previously I only went out with a mate or two. Mark thanks for the message i would love to take a look at your Jimny will reply in a sec.

dan the only local site to us now are 3 in essex 2 in sussex but invicta are allways araging trips

Thnaks guys, I will get signed up to Invicta soon, shame there are not many sites around, I did go to the one down the A21 behind the Motel near to Bedgbury quite a few years ago now however.
