High quality, Rough Country, shock absorbers. These come pre-fitted with the correct Bushes for a Jimny, you will not need to press bushes in or purchase separate bushes. They come with a Red shock boot included.

These are designed to fit the REAR of Jimnys with a UP TO A 3" Lift.

Why do these fit both sizes? This is because not only do shocks have to fit with the springs, they have to provide you with the axle drop you want. For those of you going up to a  3" Lift, not needing maximum axle drop etc. then these shock absorbers are ideal. The shock will reach its end stop before the spring reaches the point of dislocation. In summary, these are nice and long for a 2" lift and nice and controlled in a 3" lift.

If you are lifting a Jimny then please note you will require extended Springs at the same time, you cannot lift a vehicle just by purchasing longer shocks.

The shocks are sold separately but I strongly recommend that shock absorbers are changed in pairs and that you buy a replacement bolt (see below).

The next question is about brake pipes. You will need to consider replacing the brake pipes, again its all about axle drop and you do not want the brake pipe acting as the limiter. These have been tested in a 3" lift kit with the commonly availabel Goodrich extended brake pipes and they work just fine.

You should also consider Castor Correction Bushes to help with any change to the steering characteristics.

These are the oil filled "Nitro" series. These are good all-round performers which suit the Jimny well. Although Rough Country do high performance Gas shocks these are really designed for huge, heavy American 4x4's running Baja style events, not lightweight Jimnys in English mud and the Tesco's run. If you really want the Gas ones then I can do them to special order.
