Picked up my first jimny a couple weeks ago after wanting one for the best part of 3 years! It does need allot of work especially welding work, But i dont mind that. It is already jacked up on a pro comp 2" lift kit and has some chunky wheels! The main bits of welding needed is the rear foor(already cut out and going to sheet metal it) and a few tabs on the rear axel have snapped. I have already fabricated heavy duty transfer box mounts at work since the cast alloy ones already had a dodgy repair and im in the process of replacing old knackered trailing arm bushes with new ones. Im going to start a build thread soon with pictures and this will be my daily driver to keep the miles down on my car!

Welcome along!

Have you seen the Jimny Bits rear floor replacement panel. It might make life easier and quicker.
