Good info on that alternator.

Did the wiring and plug fit right in or did you have to make some DIY solution?

DIY - there is no plug on alternator. just two bolts. one for battery and one for warning light.

Okay thanks.

Well the battery cable is pretty obvious.

But what wire from the Jimny did go to the other bolt? Can you perhaps take a pic or something? :)

could not take any usable photo - both wires are behind engine mount

* front and middle propshafts bolted
* transfer box bolted
* exaust needs rewelding

* correct halfshaft finally arrived ( rs sent longer halfshaft from rear kit )
* front axle done - all wheels are on
* battery fixed in place
* rear propshaft done ( redrilled rear diff flange )

todo:
* electric fan ( from a/c )
* brakes
* transfer box lever
* fill oil

1st take everything off

add some base - 1st idea was to use original plastic and blend with metal

some more

even more

scratch that - lets make all from steel

other side

primer

one front wing done ( painting will be done tomorrow )

bash in corner so it don't mess with tyre

trim wing a bit

weld some metal

needs paint
