Omars Jimny in Sweden was created by Omar Brännström
Hi

Bought my Jimny 2001 and is still going strong. Waiting for Suzuki to release a new version of a Jimny or if not I might buy the Jeep Wrangler JK. Sadly, it seems that Suzuki left the cool 4WD segment, I wonder about the Suzuki 4WD future, probably only city suvs.

I mostly uses my Jimny when I am out and taking pictures of birds and wildlife.

As a naturephotographer i dont like shining things, so I wanted my stock rims to be black.

I ask a car shop to do it and they wanted 800 Euro for 5 rims.

I just bought one black rim can (spray) for about 7 euro for all rims and I sprayed them when the rims were on the car, did not take them of.

Just washed the rims on the car and used some sand paper then sprayed them black. I used newspaper in the rim holes for protection.

I just bought a shovel holder from Apio Japan, about 80 Euro with shipment and tax, took 6 days to get it.

Love it!

Looking well Omar.

I'm painting mine black but faffing about taking them off to do.
Wish now that I'd just stuffed some paper in the holes and sprayed them while they were still on the Jim.

K :)
