I do need half inch more room to put some 31" under my jimny (it's because of castor corrected arms, which stole some clearance between front wheels and bulkhead due to different inclination )

bit dodgy tho if done right is as strong as any other way,
i removed the radius arms and drilled new holes in the mounts, 15 mm forward then put the arms back in the new location,
then just braced from the new bolts with plates into the original holes and braced the mount,
since them the car has done 6000km and lots of jumps and haven had a problem
