So got my new cluster yesterday, and now the brake wanring light has stopped shining. There seem to be a timer function inside the cluster that cuts the light after a few seconds when ignition self test is over and this is apparently broken on my old cluster.
I tried cutting the wire from the ignition lock going into the cluster but the light still sined bright. So finally recieved and changed cluster yesterday.

works fine with a 2012 cluster on a 2005 car. pre 2005 there are major differences.

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.
