detroit trutrack rear diff locker was created by myers647
Hi just bought another Jimny with various mods including a rear detroit trutrack rear diff locker. Is there anything to look out for or listen for when I go pick it up to check it all works as it should as I'v never been in a truck with a diff locker.

Thanks
James

listen for it clunking as it self releases , just be careful on corners as they can wind up and lock

ha that dosn't sound very good mate. So in a straight light in shouldn't feel any different or sound different from a diff without the locker? has your mate got back to you ref your PM?

the locker is fine on road, on normal bends you won't notice it, for tighter turns (road junctions etc) just try to turn under gentle power rather on a trailing throttle as it will ensure the diff unlocks
the worst you notice is a bit of gentle understeer in the wet
with a lifted truck you won't be going that fast anyway ;)
