interior light was created by BIG-P
Hi folks.
Is there a fuse for the interior light?
It isn't working,i've put a multimeter across the bulb and I have continuity so wondering which fuse to replace as I don't have a handbook.

Thanks in advance :)

I thought the fuse box lid had the fuse functions on?

You want the middle fuse labelled "dome", (dome is foreign for interior light)

Anyway, test with your multimeter, stab the probes to both ends of the fuse through the little holes provided. If you get 12V the fuse is gone. (when the thing it protects should be on)

You can get expensive fuse testers that have a light that does the same thing.

BTW the interior light can be switched off at the light, 3 positions: on all the time, off all the time, and auto

BTW2 the fuse box is the one in the footwell, not the one under the bonnet.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Will it come on with the switch on the light itself?

There is very little to go wrong.
One side of the bulb is permanent live- white wire from the dome fuse.

The other side of the bulb gets earthed out either by the door switches- black & red wire, or the switch inside the lamp - black wire.

page 8A-7-33 in the wiring manual.

Mine did that, I just replaced the whole switch and then fitted a red LED bulb.
It won't come on when I open the rear door, so that's next thing to fix.
