Hello everyone, am hoping some one more clever than me can help?
when i'm driving my jim from cold there is a rattly type noise a think its the gearbox
1st & 2nd are ok ish 3rd & 4th are noisey (clickety/rattley) and 5th is spot on running silently?
Is this a bearing inside the gearbox on it last legs?
also when i'v been driving for a while and everything is
up to temperature 3rd & 4th are really noisey
i am guessing this isn't a transfer box problem because the noise isn't there all the time in every gear?
also not the clutch bearing because i can press the clutch and its silent too
Any help would be much appreciated
