In my experience cheap and quality don't go together the old saying you get what you pay for comes to mind

As far as i know a rollcage should be mounted to protect you and other's sitting in your car under heavy circumstances.
So why you should look on a few 100 pounds ?
Isn't your live worth some + 350£ more than a cheap rollbar.
That's my opinion and i know it's a lot of money for something you hope your never have to experience, but when it's happening you'll be happy to have bought the real stuff!

if you don't want to pay for one from ORA, KAP or Rhinorays then you'll have to keep an eye on ebay for a second hand one

I am very happy with the Rhino Rays roll cage on my Jimny, what's wrong with them? Well made, looks great and has taken some good knocks!

Thanks for all the input maybe I should have worded my question differently though going on the first few comments. I didn't mean I expect to pay peanuts and have something amazing especially with the upgrades i have already. maybe what I meant to say was out of the usual big players who is the best quality for money and anyone's good or bad experiences from ppl like O.R.A rhino rays etc or any one man bands

well if thats how you feel you dont know much about rollcages or good engineering where to start o yer the main thing poor design out ridders are not strong, cross bars over roof go from front to back n from left to right which is not strong like corner to corner plus will not protec your head from large rocks which would fit between bars but corner to corner this cant happen as bars would be over where your head would be so cant piercethough roof, they are flat across top they should have a rise 10 or so degrees, the welding ant that good id love to get the welds xrayed to see inside o befor you say anything im a coded welder! offers seamed tube or seamless tube no one uses seamed tube for cages. and thats all i see down there i bet if you cut the main part of cage in half you find its seam because who would do that no one who knows you could be lucky plus tubing sizes dont meet fia standards o well i could keep gonig on but think thats enough why not to have one of them cages
o and iv been engineering for 18year in all field only say what i see n know!
but upto yourself at the end of the day whats for some ant for others !
