Engine swap, what fits a 1999 Jimny 2WD (G13BB) was created by darthraider

Hi there,

I own a 1999 Suzuki Jimny 2WD. Sadly, last week its engine broke down (damaged cylinder, camshaft, head). The rest of the Jimny is in a good shape and I like my ride so I'm looking for a replacement engine.

But the problem is, G13BB jimny engines are a bit rare here (The Netherlands).
So I've been looking for other G13BB engines that will fit my Jimny. From what I have found, the G13BB engine is used a lot in other cars and 4x4's, but some have modifications that prevent a straight swap.

Can someone help me out here and tell me which engines are straight-swappable into my Jimny?
That would really help me out.
