Bumper protector

i have just picked up and fitted my new Suzuki bumper protector 99000-990AB-043 ,a great bit of kit i wanted it when i bought the car but Suzuki told me they did not do it any more but last week i found it in a catalog and my dealer told me it was a good number so i ordered it ,,,, a bit tricky to fit ,but i cut the paper backing into the 3 bits which made it a lot easier

it was £17.63 and i fitted it my self ,a bit fidley but ,but i done it as i had done them before , it is well worth it

Is the Suzuki stuff just mat black sticky vinyl? I reckon you could get a template cut to size by a signmaker on a cutter-plotter for a heck of a lot less than £17!

it is a vinyl cut to shape ,£17 is not a lot of money it is cheep by the standard of some of the other accessories in the catalog ,before i got it i asked a sign maker in cheltenham he wanted £45 to cut one and fit it

You must have more money than me! I reckon £17 is way too much for some sticky back vinyl. Horses for courses though!

How much would the dealer have charged to fit it? I bet you would have had to pay for an hours labour at what ... £70ish plus the part?
