Hi just got a second hand head off vitara mad of here thanks mate would you guys recommending head skim and pressure check before I put it on ? Or just clean up and put on

Can't speak for Jimnys but every other head I have removed, and it ain't many, I have had skimmed. Someone will come along soon with Jimny recommendation I expect.

Do it right - use Hammerite
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

if it aint bent then why skim it ??????????
If its bent and you skim in essence your camshft will also be running in bearings that are not inline although the face will be flat
Just straight edge it if it looks ok clean the faces up nice and fire it on with a new gasket
Also having it skimmed will raise your compression and that can also lead to more problems

I was thinking this if it ain't ever over heated and I put straight edge on I don't see why not
