There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.

Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.

Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

Wanted: Non VVT M16A was created by JJimny
I'm looking for a non-VVT M16A to transplant in to my Jimny. They seem to be thing on the ground on eBay currently, I've only been able to find a 140K plus from a Liana. Does anyone have a known good lump they're selling or can point me in the direction of an alternative source? Also - re: higher milage engines - any common issues to be aware of? Thanks. John.

They are getting scarce now. One option is to buy a VVT engine and swap your head and timing cover onto it. It's also a good excuse to skim the head and fit a new headgasket while the engine is out, as that is a fairly common issue on M series engines over 100,000 miles.

Thanks Busta, I hadn’t considered that approach and it makes sense to Frankenstein the engine while refreshing.
