Quick fiddle with the NGV this afternoon...
"Universal Fit Mud Mats" suits "New Grand Vitara" said the eBay advert...
Ummm...
With a bit of cutting maybe!
The fronts fitted fine! Passenger one slipped straight in, the driver's side just needed the corner cut out for the petrol flap release lever... great?...
The back ones needed trimming to shape, and then great big chunks removed to get round the protruding seat mount bulging from the transmission tunnel on the inside, and the path of the seat runners movement on the outside...
They look okay in the end though, plenty of carpet protection anyways
And the fitted one that's been in the boot for ages now...

Been out in the daily driver today... I go nearly every week to Booker Cash & Carry just down the coast from me in Llandudno Junction, but today... the sun was shining so I thought I'd take the scenic route for a necessary but also theaputic Sunday morning drive -
Round all the scenic windey back roads, passing the ends of many great greenlanes, and then back along the A55 coast road with views of the sea and the fabulous coastline...
Ahhh, needed that... had brunch (a nice Omlette) and about to venture out to the garage for an afternoon looking at the Buggy's front brakelines...

I can see why you might want to go the long way round.

In fairness... referencing the map - it's almost a mirror image of the route on the expressway... just a MUCH nicer drive

The local Car Wash and Valeting Centre around the corner from me are now reopened by appointment only due to COVID, so I dropped the GeeVee off this morning and picked it up this afternoon...
Looks like new again, despite it's age!
