That will be a long drive! Roughly 10 hours if I remember

Next trip in the planning stage is to venture deeper into the south of France... Looking to do about 4 hours which will bring us almost into the middles ish of France

Havnt decided on where to stay... Looking near to Carnac at the moment

Personally unless you research local byway laws i wouldn't bother with tracks...

If your looking for a off-roading holiday your better to go with a Overland Holiday Company

I think its Atlas Overland that do a Aples trip... But they go through all three countries and its fully catered?

Just a thought... You dont want to be caught out being somewhere you shouldn't be hundreds of miles away from home!

Yes in the Alps there's a lot of tracks you can do legally in the alps but yes you are right there are a lot that are effectively private drives.

A couple of tracks to look at are Col De Sommeiller highest driveable point in Europe and Col De Finestre

Definitely want to do Col De Sommeiller would be a nice achievement!

Luckily a guy at work as done some so he has some maps and routes to legally do :)

Still a lot of planning though :S
