Where in Northumberland were you? There are some monster river crossings/fords round Morpeth. Many a 4x4 has drowned up there over the years.

I started the day in blanchland and went up towards haydrians wall round the tyne vally etc,
Went up another time we went to the fords in morpeth but river was that bit to high to try, another group of 90's got through that day but it was that bit to much for our little jimnys
Could of good fords on the moors, i'm looking to plan a trip out early sept on the moors if anyone fancies it?

it will be limited to 5 cars max including myself so i'll try sort some dates out then pm you the information, smoggy your welcome to come if you get your arse in gear
also just purchased axe and shovel mount so adventure jim here we come!
on the look out for a high lift if anyone knows where one is?

Spent the day making home made diff breathers, transfer and gear box hopefuly later in the week,
light bar being fabricated tomorrow!
