Brake Pipe was created by PeterH
Got an advisory on a rusty brake pipe. I've got a flaring tool so will make my own. What is the size of the pipe? I guess it's metric.

Yes, pretty much all cars use the same size pipe. I'd recommend cupro nickel pipe rather than copper. It is tougher and less likely to crack. You do need a good quality flaring tool to flare it. Some cheap tools struggle with it.

While we're talking brake lines, does anyone know what thread Jimny brake bleed screws are?

I need to replace my brake lines this year so will be fitting speed bleeders while I'm doing it. Would be nice to know what size to get without having to remove the old bleed screw to double check.

Thanks guys.
I've just had a look. It's the back end by the fuel tank of the long front to rear.
Looks as though it will be fun to replace.
