Jimny is pulling right after 2" lift

Hi All,

I've installed in my new Jimny (gen 4) 2 inch lift kit of X-Shock Dakar. After lifting the car is pulling to the right.
The car is 1 month old, so other than that everything is new. The steering wheel is also seems to be centered.

Do I need to align something after lifting?

I remember that in my previous car (gen 3) I had to adjust the tie rod to center the steering wheel..

Thanks,
Shahar

Have you contacted the supplier?...

Is that buggy finished yet?...

Hi did you fit adjustable panhard rods? If not you need to fit them and adjust so the axles are centred again. Yes that’s why the steering wheel will be off centre. You need to adjust the steering bar after you’ve re centred the axles.

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

Thanks guys.

I didn't replace the panhards. As far as I know they are replaced for lift larger than 2 inch..
Actually the steering wheel is centered. Also I measured the toe and it seems ok.

Maybe the drag rod should be adjusted?

Not yet. Still with stock tyres. Unfortunately there is no legal way in Israel to replace to normal tyres.

It's most probably a castor issue. The reduced castor angle will make the car more sensitive to the camber of the road. Tracking won't be affected by a lift and if your steering wheel is centred you don't need to adjust the drag link.

I was expecting some sensitivity in steering but it feels like too much..
