Hello. I'm new to the forum having just bought a Jimny 1.3 petrol 2007.
The engine at idle has a strange marble rattle, which I hope i've captured in the video..... Any guidance appreciated.
Many thanks
DevonChris

Sorry missed this earlier. Power steering/air con belt tensioner bearing. If you get a very long screwdriver and extremely carefully rest the blade on a component and then put your ear to the handle it will act like a stethoscope and allow you to confirm. You need the engine running and have to be very careful as you can easily get caught in moving parts that have no mercy when it comes to trying to maim you. But that noise is the tensioner bearing. BE CAREFUL.

Oh and welcome to the forum. The tensioner is serviceable with a new bearing available in the shop above and can be done with a decent vice and some big sockets.
