its coming up to the first year we owned the 2017 jimny and its been great
we dont really go off road its mainly my wifes runabout
the only thing i think we want to do is improve the ride
car as done less then 8000 miles from new so everything is still like new
i read last year there was a comfort lift 2 inch and caster correction bushes on the market to give a better ride last year
whats on the market to buy and improve the ride as stuff is coming out all the time and there may be newer stuff out now
ive got bfg tyres

Trailmater 2" lift "Comfort" is the softer grade and gives the sort of improvement you describe, very well reviewed.
Available through the shop at the top of the page, a good price too....

Or for a little less you could consider
2" Black Raptor Premium from Jimnybits
These shocks are adjustable

Save your money. You won't get any more compliant a ride than you have with your almost new factory setup. Also lifts need to be notified to the insurance which is potentially extra cost but certainly more hassle. Also a lift is going to affect your centre of gravity and not in a good way. Don't forget the everyone who says their suspension got better for being lifted is almost invariably comparing their old tired suspension to new and shiny kit which is not a fair comparison.

What Lambert says. And add to that if you do not fix the caster angle after lifting the ride is definately worse.

Have a look at the Eibach Pro-Lift springs they are only +30mm and can be used with simple extenders on the shock absorbers. That allows you to use any dampers.
I run the Eibach springs with AVO adjustable dampers and am very pleased with the results...
