I've got buckets and harnesses in my Jimny and want to take the seatbelts and fixings out? What's the legality of this and if i unplug them from harness would i affect the airbags going off? Am i right to presume they trigger the bags setting off?

As long as the belt real is pluged in behind the 1/4 panel then the air bag will still work just un bolt to all and leave it behind the panel
