Anti Roll Bar and Lift was created by freak
Please help a newbie here.

Can I keep the Anti Sway Bar with a 3.5" lift? I'm afraid to remove since the shocks are overly soft (long travel).

Thanks a lot guys

Thanks,

Well, the Jimny is also a daily and due to shocks being soft as said above.

Does anyone have done this? Will it strain the joints too much?

Agreed, makes little sense.
But I'm pretty sure they bar fits with the lift.

The bar will fit, but the angle of the drop links will render the bar useless. You will need to extend the drop links or find longer.

If you dont won't to take it off, you can make spacers for the antiroll bar and install them to the chassis side

in order to lower her down.

With this the car will react as a stock one.

The spacer side is going to be about 3-4cm for your 3.5'' lift.

Thanks for the heap of opinions. I have alteady though about spacers to bring back the stock articulation of the bar. But after reading that, will definitly try with arb off first. Will get back here. Thanks again.

I have the AR bar still fitted on mine with 3" lift, and it works just fine. The reason I haven't taken it off, is because it limits the suspension in travel just enough so my 33's wont rub on the arches. And it doesn't even restrict the flex much, because I tested that with a forklift and could lift one wheel up for about 50cm, so that ain't bad for a short wheelbase truck with the AR bar on it! B)
