alarming noise

ok so have alarming noise from my jimny when i pull away in 2wd i get a click then if i pull away in 4wd the click's gone but if i pull away in 4L i get a repeated click as if it is a cv but its doing it in a straight line and on lock its even worse witch makes me say cv but the 4wd does work i have it cross axled and every thing and apart from the very loud clicking the 4wd is fine.

any help lads would be grate as im pulling my hair out over this.

I think I might have the same kinda problem but it only clicks/tings on pull away at the drivers side rear wheel , so I'm a bit worried it could be the rear diff or something??? Any help or advice would be grate

probably Transfer Case Mount or you have left a spanner/hammer/small-child under the seats ...

Ok thanks, I will have a look at that tomorrow, it's just weird soon as I lift the clutch up to move off just that wheel jolts and clicks then it's fine
