One Touch Electric Window Switch was created by Jimnyash
So, the drivers electric window is a one touch open. Can the following be done/added:

One touch open on passenger window
One touch close on driver/passenger

Thanks.

Not easily, there is a window controller box that you would need to replace.

No car that I know of provides one touch closure on passenger windows because passengers would cut their heads off all the time. (The ones with one touch closure usually detect your head by measuring the load current of the motor, when your head is jamming it, it goes into reverse. This also detects dirt and tight spots in the mechanism by refusing to close)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

They do?

Presumably VAG customers are clever enough not to get their heads cut off :cheer:

Wish I could afford to go VAG :(

all new age one touch systems have anti pinch so no head/fingers get traped and most eletric windows have a control unit on the motor its self so if to could get one of them to fit amd wire it up correctly then you also can have one touh up and down on all opening windows

Most of the PSA group have them too.

Just wondered how easy it was. Not worth spending a great deal of money on.

Best thing would be self closing windows on remote central locking. At least the RCL kit's aren't too much.

Our focus has them all round and total closure as standard.

Best thing would be an aftermarket alarm with total closure if all you want is to to save time when you walk away from the car.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

There was quite a bit of chat about how to do it till a clever solution was found to exist available in Australia. Probably similar items available locally to you.
