my heater has been stuck on feet and windscreen since i got it - fine for demisting etc but in preparation for winter etc i had a look at it. Now theres a looped cable were it fits onto the control at the bottom. If i put it back on that it will move it back to windscreen it will....try to pull it back up it doesn't How can i get into the dash end of the controls because i can make it change by hand but its not ideal. Its like it keeps popping off when you pull it back across....if that makes sense?

The heater directions controls often fail on a Jimny and it always seems to be at the heater end, not the control end. They get kicked and broken. Its not happened to mine but people I know suggest its a simple fix.
