How do Jimny side steps fit, are they bolt on or do you have to weld brackets on to the chassis?

Mine came with the cobra ones and they were bolt on, theres 2 big bolts (front and back) that stick out under the car that they located on and one in the middle that fits around the chassis.

After my first outing off road they went straight on ebay! Handy to stand on when i got stuck but they got caught up all the time.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

thanks for the info. i might consider getting a pair further down the line, however bull bars come first

Are rocksliders basically sidesteps which are man enough to be bashed off rocks etc..?

Here are ones on mine - They are welded to the chassis and are part of the roll cage - I stand on them quite a lot as I am a shorta**e and the jimny is reasonably high
