Hi (and welcome to the website)

Did the 4WD light keep flashing??

The most common fault is with the air locking hubs, but often the ECU detects this and flashes the light.

You need to check all the pipe work for the vacuum tubes to look for splits.

You can look for which hub it is by:

1. Jack up the car SECURELY!
2. Put the gearbox in NEUTRAL
3. Put the transfer box in 4WD
4. Start the engine (you must do this to create a vacuum)
5. Turn each front wheel in turn by hand and watch the front propshaft - as you turn the front wheel the propshaft should turn. If it doesn't then the side you are doing is the faulty one and you need to look at the vacuum hub or driveshaft on that side.

2003 M13 early KAP build.
