HELP Jimny not shifting

Hi,
I have an automatic 2022 Suzuki Jimny. When trying to replace the stock head unit there was a spark and now the aircon is blacked out and it will not shift out of park despite the foot being on the brake.

It will still shift when the shift lock button on the left side of the shifter is pressed in.

Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips or have gone through a similar problem and what was your solution?

I would be checking fuses - anything where the circuit name sounds likely - related to the interior or the dash.  I don't have a wiring diagram but it's common for some quite unlikely items to share a fuse.

Roger is correct one of the fuses will have popped when you fitted the head unit, possibly a wrong connection or you shorted something out. Does the new head unit work or is that off as well?

Pull the cover of the fuse box and check all of the fuses to find which one has gone. If the new head unit is still off I would disconnect it before you replace the fuse, just in case it blows another.
