I have a Thule 3 bike which works well on the various vehicles I have owned.

It works on the Jimny, BUT I need to remove the spare as its just not quite got enough clearance to miss the door mounted spare. This is with a Witter swan neck bar and standard sized spare, it's also a G3. It folds flat to allow you access to the vehicle with the unit attached, but this is a useless idea when the bikes are fitted as it too heavy / awkward to use. So assume you won't be able to get the rear door open when fitted.

So my take away is check any suggestions are 100% the same configuration as your vehicle or check before you purchase. I would assumed the Suzuki offering is designed to avoid such problems, but will be designed for a Suzuki tow bar and std sized spare.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Also remember to be mindful of the additional width if carrying adult bikes as a Jimny is quite narrow.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!

This is good advice.

I have a Buzzrack Scorpion buzzrack.com/galleries/e-scorpion-1/ but a 29” mountain bike protrudes massively either side of a Jimny.  Too much to be safe in my part of the world.  As a result i never use it.

The Frontrunner roof-bar solution works: www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/en/uk/pro-...arrier-power-ed.html
However, not a great solution for those without height and strength.

Anyone tried “The Rack” from Scorpion Racks? Expensive but may have appeal.

I fancy the “Rack” Rumble but not sure they are still at it?
Like you say most MTB’s are wider than a Jim.

Not really interested in putting the bike on the roof but seems one of the only solutions.
