the toyota and suzuki cars with the toy hybrid solution has much lower emissions so they will be much cheaper here in noway at least.
Note that this has more to do with the test and they way they calculate and not so much with the real daily use. A car will never save the planet even if it is electric.
Pure electric is much more interesting than hybrid though.

Hydrogen solutions is still a long way off because of the apparent problems with distribution, storage, production, and therefore the price. the technology is not there yet.

Pure electric cars will be here for any foreseeable future, at least ten years, much longer than the expected life cycle of their batteries :) .
A hydrogen power plant (if possible in the future) could produce electricity for an electric car, or the electric car could have a hydrogen fuel cell battery in the future.
Now more than 70% of every new car sold in Norway is electric.
But how to make electricity for all these cars when we cannot make clean power for the electricity need today without the cars, I have no idea. looks impossible.

I do not know if this means anything but the last five years almost no new oil-industry related ship has been built/ordered as far as i know.
No supply ships, no anchor handling, no seismic, no research, no diving vessel, nothing. only a few production and distribution vessels. The oil industry has stopped expanding.

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.
